Studio 506 presents
Season Five Launch Party
January 6, 2018
In order to launch our fifth season as a theatre company, we hosted our Season Five Launch Party at Mill No. 5's fifth floor studio space. The night consisted of preview performances from our upcoming season throughout the night, a plant-your-seed station with Mill City Grows, a make up demonstration of a wood fairy by resident makeup artist Jamie Picon, snacks + drinks themed to two of our productions, as well as a host of other interactive stations guests could participate in.
The announcement of our season also included the announcement of several community partnerships we have forged for the 2018 season, as well as other projects we are introducing: a cabaret series, story slams, Ripe Fruit: a webseries about queer millennial culture, as well as a series of workshops open to the Lowell community. It was also announced that Studio 506 received two grants from the Lowell Cultural Council for the 2018 season; one for their Play Reading Series, and one for their 2018 Devised Work, "An Original Devised Work That Has No Title".
